COO & Software Engineer
Get to know Jason.
COO and Co-founder Jason Garber has always been an early adopter. In 1997, at age 14, he founded a computer company and started developing websites. Unsurprisingly, he went on to be a passionate advocate for Ruby on Rails, clean code, and automated testing. Today, he leads our internal operations and guides client work with the same entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail.
Prior to co-founding Promptworks, he was a freelancer and consulted with a variety of clients, always with the same attention to creating value and streamlining business operations. He previously held positions at Rosetta Stone and Eastern Mennonite University, where he studied Economics, Business Administration, and Computer Information Systems.
Jason is also the author of https://abookapart.com/products/practical-pair-programming(Practical Pair Programming), which distills the collaboration lessons learned while writing code and building the team of engineers at Promptworks over the last seven years.
