CTO & Software Engineer
Get to know Mike.
CTO and Co-founder, Mike Nicholaides, has long been fascinated with how to leverage powerful insights to create smart, easy-to-use software. He started his web development journey after graduating from Drexel University with a degree in computer science, focusing on human computer interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence. In his current capacity as CTO, he is still fanatical about building quality products that truly serve the real needs of our clients.
A web developer since the 90s, Mike has always focused on solving problems, whether that’s building new software, scaling, testing, or fixing existing applications. He’s also an entrepreneur at heart, and prior to co-founding Promptworks, which has grown into a multi-million dollar business in fewer than three years, he also founded and participated in other startups.
Applying the philosophy of lifelong learning, Mike is passionate and active about improving his craft. While he has deep expertise in a few languages, he believes that a wide range of experience in technology and keeping hands-on with the latest-and-greatest helps him raise the bar for employees, partners and clients alike.
